COVID-19 Statement

 

Both East Midlands Helicopters' and Arcus Helicopters' top priority has always been safety closely followed by striving to deliver a professional, reliable and high quality service to all our customers. 

 

During this pandemic, we have followed the Government guidelines and taken precautions for not only our staff but also customers and all families respectively.

 

It is clear that should we continue to operate for flight training, this would not enable us to adhere to the government self distancing advice being given, therefore until there are further relaxations in the current measures, we are not operational for training or trial lessons. However we are able to offer charter services with stringent safety measures in place to minimise any risk to crew or passengers with fully sanitised aircraft and PPE for all our crew.

 

When we are able to commence training operations and also for anyone visiting either premises during this time, appointments will be spaced further apart with more time allowed before and after to fully sanitise affected areas in order to reduce any risk to customers and company staff. 

 

You will be asked to complete a personal health declaration on arrival at our premises and PPE and disinfectant gel will be available to be worn and used, although should you wish to bring your own PPE you may. 

 

Most importantly if you or any member of your household is experiencing, has recently experienced or is showing any symptoms such as a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath, please call us and do not attend the premises. 

 

We will be reviewing our current position as further government advice becomes available and will publish company updates but in the meantime we would very much like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued efforts in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and especially the NHS and other key industries for their continued hard work.
